Transport Manager CPC Refresher Course – Road Haulage

According to the Traffic Commissioners of Great Britain, qualified transport managers must complete refresher training at least every five years. The aim of this 2 day course is to refresh and update key areas of the Transport Management Certificate of Professional Competence - Road Haulage qualification.
Transport managers should ensure they follow industry best practice and endeavor to remain compliant with their Operator Licence undertakings. This will help them maintain a healthy Operator Compliance Risk Score (OCRS).
The course provides up to date information to enhance attendees knowledge and understanding of the day to day rules that are applied by the enforcement agencies. Enabling them to ensure they have effective and compliant control of their transport operations and more importantly their Operator Licence undertakings.
The day is conducted by an experienced qualified Transport Manager, now turned Instructor.

Attending a 2-day Transport Manager CPC Refresher Course within 5 years of gaining your initial qualification or since your last refresher is specifically referred to in the Statutory Guidance issued by the Senior Traffic Commissioner as Continued Professional Development, the DVSA also now consider this when evaluating an operator’s compliance.
